They consist of four members: James Haselhurst (guitars/vocals/keys), Ross Harley (Bass/Vocals), David Baron (Drums/Vocals) and Phil Haselhurst(keys/guitars/vocals). Their sound has been described as 'Jigsaw Pop', in reference to their tendency for complex intertwining melodies, while still creating a catchy pop hook. This is a description that the band are said feel comfortable with. Bassist Ross Harley previously played in the band Yourcodenameis:Milo. The others have all played in various Newcastle outfits, before coming together as a four piece. They are currently gaining considerable attention across the music industry, as a band who may soon break into a wider level of recognition. They are due to release their debut album, 'Invasion On A Budget' on 28 November 2011, which will consist of re-mastered versions of many of the songs from their early EP's, as well as new material. A downloadable track, 'The Total Collapse Of It All', is being released in advance of the album on 3 October 2011.

Career

They have so far released two 4 track EP's, entitled 'The Total Collapse Of It All' and 'More Of The Savage'. These releases, as well as a string of live shows across the UK, have led them to rapidly gain attention as a hotly tipped up-and-coming band, receiving praise from Tom Robinson (of BBC 6 Music), as well as from a number of local stations and magazines in early 2011. They were selected by BBC Introducing to play the 2011 Reading & Leeds Festivals. They also played Split Festival in Sunderland, at the request of The Futureheads. Their track, 'The Total Collapse Of It All', was chosen to be playlisted by BBC Radio 1 for a week, to coincide with the release of the track on 3 October 2011. They will be playing an album preview show at Proud Camden on 21 October. An official album lauch event has also been announced by the band, though details where and when this will take place are still to be confirmed. They have also stated that they will be shortly announcing more live dates, after a return to the studio to record new material to be released in 2012.
